Our
Mission

This warm visit was made possible thanks to our long-time partner — the National Committee “Miss Ukraine-South” 💫

Each such moment is not just about beauty — it's about kindness, compassion, and support for animals.

Together with strong, brilliant, and resilient Ukrainian women, we’ve been helping our furry friends for years ❤️

Thank you for your friendship, warmth, and inspiration.

Together, we can do even more 🐾✨

Dear team of the jewelry factory "Zolotiy Vik"

From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely thank you for your support in the form of food for dogs and cats! ❤️

Your help is incredibly valuable and important for our four-legged friends who are in need of care and attention! 🫶🏻

Your social responsibility and compassion are truly exemplary!

We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to continuing our cooperation for the sake of good causes!

With respect and gratitude,

Animal Shelter "Kovcheg" 🐾

This day became a true celebration for both our four-legged residents and our guests 😍 Children and police officers got acquainted with the shelter's animals, spent time in a warm atmosphere, and played with the pets. The star of the event was our queen Gerda, enchanting everyone with her grace, while Tom stole the guests’ hearts with his charisma! 🐾 The Odessa police didn’t come empty-handed – together with the children, they brought food and useful items for our animals, which we greatly need!

We also prepared a pleasant surprise for our guests – memorable gifts ❤️

A heartfelt thank you for your care, kindness, and love for animals! Thanks to initiatives like the Kindness Lessons, our beloved pets receive more attention and support, while the guests enjoy unforgettable emotions from interacting with the animals!

Two little ones with ginger fur were found on the street, helpless, hungry, dirty, showing signs of infection. At the vet clinic where they were taken, the suspicion of Enteritis was confirmed. Right away, the doctor put the babies, whose eyes were filled with pain and despair, on a drip, and the fight for the lives of these little ones - a brother and a sister - was started.

For over a week, experts did everything to help the little ones, and finally breathed a sigh of relief. The illness receded. Now begins another stage - recovery and healing. Then, after rehabilitation, comes the first vaccination.

The day of discharge from the veterinary clinic. We took the babies, taking on the responsibility of caring for them. The girl was named Gemma - a precious stone, a pearl. The boy was named John, which means "God's mercy."

Now Gemma and John are healthy, vaccinated, sterilized, and eager to be noticed. They want to be surrounded by the care and warmth of their parents. In return, you will receive endless smiles, their loyalty, and love!

In August 2023, we found a kitten that was crying loudly and in need of human assistance.

We took the kitten in and began to treat his crusty eyes. Later, we treated him for fleas, which had completely covered his tiny body... Our Alina fed the kitten drop by drop because it wouldn't suckle from the bottle, and we didn't know how long he had gone without eating.

We named him Remi! At that time, the kitten was about 10-15 days old. He constantly tilted his head, but he gradually got used to the environment around him.

Today, after six months of diligent work by our staff, Remi found a family, and and they send us photos from his new home.

An impressive story of how Graduate Chapa saved her family from destruction!

On January 26th, a terrible fire broke out in the village of Zatoka, destroying a house and a shop... Unfortunately, the affected family turned out to be the one that had previously adopted a dog from our shelter. Our graduate Chapa woke up the owner when the fire started, thereby saving the lives of all the residents of the house!

"Chapa sleeps with me in one room, while my wife is with Kurzhaar and another dog in another part of the house. Chapa woke me up... and bit me on the cheek. I got angry, it had never happened before. I thought she hadn't done her business since the evening, so I got up and opened the door... and there was already a raging fire..." - the owner of Chapa shared with us.

Little Stella was found in the village of Limanka (Chornomorka), Zolota Hora, Soviniyoni, in the Pivzavod district, with a tumor in her mammary gland, jaw issues, and blindness...

We do everything we can to make sure the dog feels good despite off everything she went through before coming to us.

Our beauty needs help and constant care due to her advanced age and the health issues mentioned above (CBC, biochemistry analysis, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound).

Stella will remain in our shelter forever to live her happy life under the care of a veterinarian and our staff.
