This is Malysh, a mixed breed Alabai. He was brought to the "Kovcheg" shelter right before New Year’s from a construction site. He was locked away and forgotten in a dark warehouse and miraculously rescued by a compassionate man. The dog was in terrible condition — dehydrated and hungry. The saddest part is that Malysh has lost his sight. Possibly due to long confinement in darkness and cold or because of illness. His eyes reflect a deep green light. Malysh is a very calm and kind dog, and importantly, his eyes do respond to movement and light. At this time, Malysh urgently needs professional veterinary ophthalmologic care and a new loving owner.
